About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our cannabis retail location. This role demands leadership to build and motivate a successful team, drive sales, and ensure strict compliance in a vibrant retail environment. You will take full ownership of store performance while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily store activities to achieve operational excellence
- Hire, train, mentor, and supervise the store staff
- Boost sales performance, manage key performance indicators, labour costs, and budget adherence
- Foster a customer-oriented sales environment
- Oversee inventory management, product displays, and sales reporting
- Adhere strictly to provincial cannabis laws and regulations
- Confirm customer age verification and enforce company policies diligently
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of leadership experience in retail or customer service
- Proven expertise in sales-driven leadership and operational management
- Experience in cannabis, liquor, or regulated retail sectors is preferred
- Certification in cannabis sales (such as Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell) required
- Must meet provincial minimum age requirements (18 or 19 years or older)
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 40 pounds
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
