Multi-Skilled Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Technician to oversee the daily upkeep of show equipment, rides, thematic elements, and facility operations at The Dungeons London. You'll find yourself working in a unique environment where aquatic creatures like sharks and penguins form part of your everyday backdrop.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include performing electrical and mechanical inspections and maintenance tasks. This involves addressing both regular upkeep and unexpected breakdowns by efficiently diagnosing and fixing issues to minimize downtime and enhance visitor experience. You will implement planned preventative maintenance, follow work orders diligently, and conduct installation, repair, and housekeeping activities. Reporting outcomes from inspection reports to the Technical Supervisor and ensuring timely, cost-effective completion of tasks is crucial.

Since you will often be operating in public areas, excellent customer service skills and confidence in interacting with visitors of varying ages are essential. A collaborative and proactive approach to resolving technical challenges while maintaining high-quality standards is expected. This full-time, permanent position requires working weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis to accommodate the attraction's operating hours.

Candidate Profile

• Preferably possesses an electrical engineering focus with an ONC or HNC qualification and has completed a formal apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical production disciplines.
• Experiences working effectively under pressure within guest-centric environments.
• Demonstrates flexibility, strong work ethics, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Self-driven with keen attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Time-served apprentice with multiple years' experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
