Position Overview

We invite applications for multiple Glass Production Operator positions at our Adelaide facility located in West Croydon. This permanent, full-time role operates on a 3-on 2-off rotating shift schedule covering night, afternoon, and day shifts across a seven-day cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate glass forming machinery, including routine inspections, lubrication, component changes, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain inspection and packaging equipment efficiently.
• Perform quality control checks on glass products and handle any required fault corrections.
• Monitor production data and enter relevant parameters for tracking.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold 5S workplace organization principles.
• Operate forklifts and manage pack center responsibilities as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain cleanliness within the workspace.
• Adapt to a 24/7 manufacturing environment via a rotating night-afternoon-day shift roster (3 days on, 2 days off).

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably possess significant experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, demonstrating strong mechanical skills.
• Candidates with trade qualifications or prior glass manufacturing experience will be given preference.
• Physically capable of performing tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting safely.
• Strong communication skills coupled with an ability to function effectively under pressure.
• Self-driven with initiative, comfortable working independently yet collaborating well within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge.
