About the Role
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic and supportive engineering team at a busy manufacturing facility in Salisbury. The engineer will handle both electrical and mechanical maintenance duties, addressing machine breakdowns, executing planned preventative maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks across site machinery.
- Respond swiftly to machine breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance routines.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at improving production processes and equipment efficiency.
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Competency in handling planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance operations in a fast-paced factory setting.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilities.
- Relevant engineering qualification in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and ability to diagnose faults using input/output analysis.
