Job description
Job Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to contribute as a member of the Multi-Function Team by delivering excellent patient care, mainly through patient portering duties. This involves safely and compassionately handling and transporting patients.
Key Duties
- Ensure patient movement and interaction are conducted with safety and empathy.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the environment consistently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and all staff members.
- Adapt to the needs of the facility, providing support across various service areas including Switchboard and Estates.
Working Hours
The role largely covers shifts from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, with occasional requirements to work night shifts to support service needs.
