Job Overview

Mexican Sugar is looking to hire a dedicated Busser to deliver courteous and effective food and beverage service following company standards for quality and timing. The role involves maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant, supporting servers and bartenders by managing tables and ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks, and assisting with special cleaning and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
• Be punctual and adhere to uniform requirements for scheduled shifts.
• Set up and break down workstations promptly.
• Keep workstations clean and well-stocked during shifts.
• Ensure sufficient ice supply for drink preparation.
• Comply with all legal regulations related to food and alcohol service, maintaining necessary certifications.
• Clear and tidy tables across the restaurant consistently.
• Polish silverware and glassware to prepare the restaurant for service.
• Report guest concerns or operational issues promptly to management.
• Maintain and clean all necessary equipment and utensils.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
• Collaborate positively with coworkers and management.
• Adhere to all safety and operational checklists and protocols.
• Support servers in managing tables and guest needs during visits.

Qualifications

• Capability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and use trays properly.
• Must acquire and keep any required certifications up to date.
