Overview
Opening Act Media seeks a skilled Motion Graphics & Video Editor to enhance our creative team. This role demands a deep understanding that editing is not just about assembling clips but involves a strong sense of storytelling, timing, visual composition, and effective communication through visuals. The ideal candidate will be proficient with editing software and driven by creativity.
Responsibilities
- Edit brand films, social media content, commercials, campaign videos, and other digital media.
- Develop motion graphics, animations, transitions, and visual effects to elevate video projects.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to transform concepts into compelling visual narratives.
- Manage projects from raw footage through to polished final delivery ensuring high-quality output.
- Explore and experiment with new visual formats, styles, and AI-driven creative techniques.
- Ensure a consistently high technical standard for all deliverables.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing a range of projects and capabilities is essential.
- Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Comprehensive knowledge of editing fundamentals including color correction, sound design, typography, and motion principles.
- Excellent storytelling skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Technical aptitude with a willingness to adopt new software and workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-based creative tools and their application in video production workflows.
Additional Desirable Skills
- Experience using Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve.
- Exposure to various AI video, image, and creative tools.
Work Location
This position is based in Bengaluru and requires presence on-site or hybrid working arrangements.
