Role Overview

This position involves conceptualizing and crafting motion graphics from the ground up rather than merely animating pre-designed elements. You will develop a consistent visual language across an entire creator's content, ensuring the design holds cohesively throughout multiple edits.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply fundamental principles of design such as hierarchy, spacing, scale, perspective, and lighting to every frame.
• Create purposeful and editorial dynamic text animations beyond repetitive templates.
• Seamlessly integrate graphics and text with live-action footage using advanced camera and object tracking techniques to maintain accurate perspective and spatial relations.
• Composite AI-generated visuals including characters and environments into live footage, carefully matching lighting, scale, perspective, and camera motion to achieve seamless integration.
• Enhance AI and stock footage through compositing, motion effects, lighting adjustments, and other techniques rather than inserting them unaltered.
• Design transitions inspired by the actual content within the footage instead of relying on generic transition packs.
• Decide wisely when it’s efficient to use templates, plugins, or expressions, and when custom-built solutions are necessary to achieve the desired aesthetic.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in motion graphics.
• Expert proficiency in After Effects, alongside strong capabilities in Premiere Pro.
• Comfortable incorporating AI tools throughout the motion graphics workflow as a standard practice.
• A portfolio demonstrating skills in tracking, compositing, and integrating AI-generated content with live-action, not just isolated animation work.
• Ability to collaborate across US time zones when required.
• Beneficial skills include basic 3D modeling/animation knowledge (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya), an understanding of typography and brand consistency, and familiarity with audio synchronization and music-driven animation.

• Attuned to assessing AI-generated visuals to enhance realism through considerations like light source, camera movement, and scale.
• Preference for creating transitions based on existing footage elements rather than using preset packs.
• Prudent in choosing between ready-made templates/plugins and custom builds depending on project needs.

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (Onsite)
