Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Gurugram requires a Motion Designer who will produce captivating motion graphics and animations for various digital products, marketing campaigns, and communication materials. The daily tasks include developing visual stories, creating storyboards, designing motion components, and collaborating with design, product, and stakeholder teams to effectively communicate intricate concepts. The role demands close cooperation with UX and UI teams to augment product experience via motion and participation in video production work such as editing and preparing assets. The Motion Designer must consistently manage deadlines, uphold brand standards, and deliver exceptional quality that aligns with Yellow Slice's goal to simplify essential services.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Motion Design and Motion Graphics aimed at digital product and visual communication domains.
- Proficiency in Animation and Storyboarding to convey coherent visual narratives and interaction paths.
- Experience with Video Production tasks including basic editing, asset creation, and exporting for various platforms.
- Competence with professional software tools like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar motion and graphic design applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, understand briefs, and translate complex ideas into straightforward visual stories.
- A sharp eye for visual design, meticulous attention to detail, and comprehensive knowledge of timing, transitions, and micro-interactions in digital interfaces.
- Relevant practical experience in motion design related to product design, UI/UX, or digital services supported by a portfolio of motion projects.
- A degree or formal education in Design, Animation, Media Arts, or related areas is desirable, though equivalent hands-on experience is equally valued.
