Role Overview
We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to provide expert advice to borrowers and facilitate the closing of residential mortgage loans. This position blends consultative sales techniques with deep mortgage product knowledge, managing loan applications from initial pre-qualification to final approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce leads by leveraging realtor referrals, responding to inbound inquiries, and proactive outbound outreach.
- Conduct borrower pre-qualification and recommend suitable loan products.
- Gather necessary documentation and ensure submission of applications for underwriting review.
- Maintain clear communication with borrowers, realtors, and processing teams throughout the loan cycle.
- Adhere strictly to lending regulations, including TRID and RESPA compliance.
- Oversee loan pipeline effectively and consistently achieve monthly funding objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possession of an active NMLS license is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years experience originating residential mortgage loans.
- In-depth knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loan products.
- Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass and BytePro.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven history of meeting monthly loan origination targets.
