Role Overview

We are searching for a driven and flexible Mortgage Advisor to join our leading brokerage, providing excellent mortgage advice and solutions to both new and existing customers primarily through online and telephone communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and expand a client base generated from mortgage enquiries driven through online marketing efforts.
• Deliver top-tier mortgage advice over phone and email channels.
• Engage and negotiate with banks and lenders to secure optimal loan options for clients.
• Establish and nurture robust client relationships, maintaining regular communication with clarity on subsequent steps.
• Evaluate clients' financial situations and credit histories thoroughly.
• Strictly adhere to internal protocols, banking and financial legislation, as well as industry regulations.
• Keep current with market trends and details of various mortgage and related financial products.
• Spot and pursue opportunities to cross-sell Protection, Pensions, Savings & Investments, with training support provided.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferably holding QFA certification with a minimum of APA Loans qualification.
• Deep knowledge of mortgage products and compliance requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills suited to a dynamic sales environment.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Confident in negotiation, influence, and closing sales, complemented by a professional telephone manner.
• Driven to achieve results, supported by a proven successful track record.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience as a Mortgage Advisor.
• More than one year’s experience in a Mortgage Brokerage setting is highly advantageous.

Employment Details

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday.
• Location: Onsite in Portlaoise.
