About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Simulation and Optimization Analyst to develop simulation models for warehouses and distribution networks. The candidate will be responsible for constructing models, executing scenario analyses, and translating outcomes into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Create discrete-event and agent-based simulation models representing warehouse and distribution center processes.
• Design and implement supply chain scenarios addressing network structure, inventory management strategies, and risk or disruption evaluations.
• Generate concise visual summaries and brief reports that articulate findings and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain thorough documentation of model assumptions, underlying logic, parameters, and data origins for each assignment.
• Assist senior consultants during client workshops, data gathering sessions, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a closely related discipline; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Have foundational knowledge of supply chain simulation methodologies.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret quantitative data and recognize patterns.
• Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• Show high motivation, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• Engagement in university projects, internships, or coursework featuring simulation, supply chain analysis, or data analytics.
• An interest in warehousing, logistics, and emerging themes such as digital twin technology and Industry 4.0.

Work Location and Additional Information

The position is based in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, with occasional travel to client sites as project requirements dictate.
