Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled Mid Level Mission Designer to join our dedicated Mission Design Team (MDT) at our UK studio in central Manchester. The MDT consists of designers, a producer, and embedded quality assurance personnel who collaboratively handle the creation of new mission implementations, maintenance of existing missions, and design of player events within our expanding Persistent Universe.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with your lead designer to finalize detailed high-level mission designs.
• Design, document, and implement missions and gameplay systems with direction from senior team members.
• Utilize various internal tools, including StarScript visual scripting editor, to develop mission logic, systems, and events.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to manage dependencies and ensure timely delivery of content.
• Actively incorporate feedback, iterate on designs, and develop your professional skills within the team environment.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience working on AAA or comparable game titles, supported by a strong design portfolio.
• Familiarity with visual scripting or fundamental programming principles.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across different departments.
• Motivated to learn, adapt, and grow skills within a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication abilities and capacity to build positive interdepartmental relationships.
• Reliable in meeting frequent deadlines and managing workload accordingly.
