Role Overview
The MIS Analyst position is integral to the International Banking Group's Retail Collections & Recovery unit. The individual will be responsible for the preparation, distribution, and maintenance of various management information system (MIS) reports and performance dashboards. This role demands attention to portfolio performance, write-offs, recoveries, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and disseminate MIS and performance reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Design and sustain dashboards illustrating key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Collections & Recovery.
- Continuously monitor portfolio metrics including delinquency patterns, recoveries, and collection effectiveness.
- Conduct performance analyses of collectors, teams, agencies, and legal recovery efforts.
- Generate reports on write-offs and recovery status post-write-off at daily, monthly, and yearly intervals.
- Analyze trends involving write-offs, net financial losses, and portfolio fluctuations.
- Manage submission and upkeep of regulatory reports on the QCB Portal, ensuring compliance with Qatar Central Bank directives.
- Aggregate, validate, and distribute reports among departments such as Collections, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Legal.
- Perform thorough data reconciliation to ascertain report accuracy.
- Liaise with internal teams for data gathering, fulfilling reporting requisites.
- Optimize MIS operations through automation and increased reporting efficiency.
- Provide support for audit activities, compliance checks, finance requirements, and regulatory reporting.
