Millwright

Position Overview

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. The Millwright will collaborate with various team members to ensure machinery operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure machines function at peak performance.
• Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery and equipment based on technical plans.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Use precision tools to align and calibrate machinery and equipment accurately.
• Create necessary parts for machine installation through fabrication.
• Adhere to safety standards and keep the work environment clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, electricians, and other colleagues to improve equipment performance.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Operate independently when needed and contribute effectively as part of the team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• Must hold a Certified Millwright 433A ticket.
• Experience working with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, pumps, and machinery rebuilds required.
• Knowledge of electrical components is considered an advantage.
• Experience with boiler systems is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of $47.40, with added shift premiums and overtime pay after 40 hours.
