Middle Office Specialist

Position Overview

We seek a motivated and talented Middle Office Specialist to join our Asset Middle Office Operations team based in Abu Dhabi. This permanent role involves managing operational activities, engaging with international market counterparties, and spearheading process enhancements through automation and AI integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operations team responsible for trade reconciliation, clearing, settlement, and general middle-office workflows.
• Serve as the primary liaison for prime brokers, custodians, clearing houses, and other market participants by addressing inquiries and escalating issues appropriately.
• Spot and implement opportunities to streamline and automate procedures leveraging AI, SQL, and other technological tools.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Between three and seven years’ hands-on experience within Middle or Back Office operations in institutional financial markets.
• Exposure to multiple asset classes, with a preference for candidates familiar with Fixed Income and OTC products.
• Proficiency with Excel and foundational SQL skills; additional experience in VBA, Python, automation, or AI is advantageous.
• A proactive, articulate, and commercially savvy individual who demonstrates technical aptitude and strong potential for career advancement.

Role Details and Benefits

• Location: Abu Dhabi, with a hybrid working model requiring four days per week in-office attendance.
• Compensation: Monthly salary between AED 20,000 and 30,000 plus a bonus ranging from 10% to 20%.
