Enterprise & Solution Security Architecture Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end security architectures covering cloud, IAM, system, and network security.
• Develop target-state, reference, and solution architectures aligned with business goals and risk postures.
• Ensure architectures are scalable, resilient, and embrace Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles.
• Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation including diagrams, design specs, and security standards.

Identity, Access & Privileged Access Architecture Responsibilities

• Architect robust enterprise IAM, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, and Entra ID.
• Design secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), federation protocols, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), and identity lifecycle management.
• Define privileged access strategies, secret management, and least-privilege enforcement.
• Oversee secure integration of IAM platforms with cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments.

Cloud, System & Network Security Architecture Responsibilities

• Design security frameworks for cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Specify security controls such as OS hardening, segmentation, and access controls for platforms and middleware.
• Architect network security solutions involving segmentation, secure connectivity, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Ensure compliance with established industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CSA CCM, and SABSA.

Governance, Risk & Advisory

• Participate in architecture review boards, design authorities, and security governance forums.
• Support threat modeling, security risk assessments, and trade-off analysis in architecture decisions.
• Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, audit, and compliance demands.
• Promote secure-by-design principles across projects and teams.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in security architecture, providing guidance to engineers and solution teams.
• Collaborate with client senior IT, security, and risk executives.
• Mentor junior architects and security engineers.
• Contribute to client proposals, solution development, and workshops.

Candidate Experience and Qualifications

• Proven background as a Security Architect or similar role with demonstrated technical expertise.
• Hands-on experience in Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, System/Platform Security, and Network Security.
• Developed architectures for enterprise-scale and large environments.

Technical Skills

• Experience with IAM/PAM tools such as SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Entra ID, Okta, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with identity protocols including SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and LDAP.
• Expertise with major cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design knowledge of network and system security architecture concepts.
• Proficiency with security architecture frameworks and standards.

Preferred Certifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SABSA are strongly desirable.
• Additional cloud security certifications are beneficial.
• Vendor certifications related to IAM or PAM solutions are an advantage.
