About the Role

Hemamco Company Limited is seeking a qualified Planning & Scheduling Engineer to support Saudi Aramco–approved and other potential client projects. The role centers on delivering high-quality construction results, ensuring safety, and conforming to engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create baseline project schedules aligning with contractual scopes and key milestones.
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and corresponding activity hierarchies.
• Update schedules regularly reflecting actual project progress.
• Track critical path elements and evaluate schedule performance metrics.
• Formulate look-ahead schedules for upcoming tasks.
• Conduct progress analysis in comparison with the baseline schedule.
• Detect and report schedule deviations, delays, and associated risks.
• Assist in recovery and acceleration plan formulation when necessary.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, construction teams, and subcontractors for schedule alignment.
• Compile weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Contribute to delay evaluations and extension-of-time claims if required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
• At least five years’ experience in planning and scheduling.
• Experience within EPC or construction projects preferred.
• Prior involvement in Saudi industrial projects is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
• Knowledge of MS Project is beneficial.
• Competence in WBS and schedule development techniques.
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Expertise in progress measurement and resource loading.
• Ability to generate S-curves and progress reports.
• Skills in schedule variance and delay analysis.

• Demonstrated experience across construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, or EPC sectors.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to collaborate within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong dedication to safety, quality, budget, and timing adherence.
• Professional responsibility and adaptability for emerging project contexts.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia work environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi clients such as Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC adds value.
• English language proficiency suitable for the professional context.
