About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Saudi accountant to join our Finance Department at Wadi Jeddah. The successful candidate will possess strong foundational accounting knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work autonomously within a demanding, fast-moving environment.

Primary Duties

  • Handle daily accounting operations and ensure financial records are accurately maintained.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other required accounting adjustments.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations covering bank accounts, receivables, payables, and additional balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Validate accounting entries for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Support cash flow tracking and payment handling.
  • Facilitate VAT computations, submissions, and corresponding reconciliations.
  • Provide assistance during audits by furnishing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Detect and help rectify discrepancies within financial records.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at refining and automating finance processes.

Candidate Requirements

  • Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Have between two to three years’ experience in a general accounting capacity.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Experienced with ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced or strong working level.
  • Knowledgeable about VAT and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations.
  • Exhibit strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and reconciliation capabilities.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of prioritizing workloads to meet strict deadlines effectively.
