Job Overview
A manufacturing company near Duncan, BC, is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join their team during the afternoon shift. This position offers an hourly wage of $40.
Key Responsibilities
- Create metal parts precisely according to given blueprints and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, press brake machines, and cranes safely and effectively.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guide fabrication tasks.
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
- Weld various components applying different welding methods.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on equipment as necessary.
Required Expertise
- Demonstrated experience in metal fabrication is essential for this role.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics proficiently.
- Strong mechanical understanding and grasp of fabrication processes.
- Experience working with press brake machines, cranes, and similar equipment.
- Competent and safe operator of hand tools.
- Welding skills such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding are highly preferred.
