Merchandiser

Job Summary

Marlo Apparel is seeking a skilled Merchandiser with substantial experience in the garment industry to become a vital member of our expanding team based in Ganapathipalayam, Tiruppur. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the entire order lifecycle, working closely with buyers, suppliers, and production units to ensure smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee order management from product development stages through to shipment.
• Liaise effectively with buyers to grasp and meet their requirements.
• Handle sample creation and ensure timely follow-up procedures.
• Create and monitor Time & Action (T&A) and production schedules.
• Collaborate with production, sampling, fabric, trims, and related departments.
• Track and follow up on approvals for lab dips, fabrics, trims, and samples.
• Maintain diligent supervision of order progress to guarantee timely delivery.
• Establish and sustain clear communication lines with buyers and suppliers.
• Identify and troubleshoot any production or order-related challenges promptly.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Merchandiser in garment manufacturing.
• Sound knowledge of garment manufacturing practices including export and domestic market merchandising.
• Strong familiarity with fabrics, trims, garment measurements, and construction techniques.
• Excellent coordination and follow-up abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven individual capable of managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Excel and merchandising-related software tools.
