Merchandiser

Overview

Galaxy Frp Fiber Fabrication is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to join their team in Basavanagudi, Bangalore. This position focuses on overseeing the entire merchandising cycle in the textile and uniform manufacturing sector, ensuring orders progress smoothly from initiation to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end merchandising workflow starting with order placement through to final dispatch.
• Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, vendors, and internal production departments to ensure alignment on orders.
• Interpret client specifications accurately and facilitate timely order execution.
• Coordinate product aspects including sampling, cost estimation, and consistent follow-up on orders.
• Monitor materials procurement such as fabrics, trims, and accessories essential for uniform production.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, purchases, production progress, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure manufacturing outputs comply with client quality standards and requirements.
• Address and resolve queries and issues arising from clients and vendors promptly.
• Simultaneously track multiple orders and coordinate to meet all deadlines effectively.
• Generate periodic reports covering merchandising activities and order statuses.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in textile merchandising, garment merchandising, or uniform manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of fabrics, textiles, and garment production processes.
• Exhibit strong skills in merchandising and product coordination tasks.
• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Confidently manage relationships with vendors and clients.
• Show excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently.
• Have proficiency in MS Excel and basic computing applications.
• Experience working specifically within uniform manufacturing or textile companies will be advantageous.

• Salary range is ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month.
