Position Summary

This full-time, on-site position located in Madhya Pradesh, India, involves coordinating between buying clients, production, and internal departments to oversee orders from initial sample stages to full-scale manufacturing. The Merchandiser ensures adherence to product specifications and quality benchmarks, manages timelines for delivery, prepares and monitors costing and approval processes, and handles all related documentation. Additionally, tracking production milestones, resolving concerns about materials, trims, and packaging, and supporting product design changes based on buyer trends are key responsibilities. Maintaining accurate records related to orders, shipments, and regulatory adherence is essential, along with sustaining effective communication and professional engagement with buyers and vendors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication capabilities for interaction with buyers, production teams, and suppliers.
• Strong organizational skills for planning, coordination, and following through on approvals and production scheduling.
• Previous experience specifically in merchandising within the home textiles industry is mandatory.
• A diploma or degree in textiles, fashion, business, or a related discipline is favorable.
• Competency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus basic familiarity with data reporting tools.
• Detail-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills, and readiness to operate in a dynamic manufacturing environment on-site.
