Job description

Role Overview

MiCiM International is seeking a skilled Mechanical MEP Manager to lead complex and critical project packages from procurement through to successful completion. This role demands an experienced engineer with excellent communication abilities, a proactive mindset, and dedication to delivering top-quality projects in a safe, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and manage the assigned MEP package from tender stages to project completion.
  • Evaluate and develop scopes of work, tender documents, and interface schedules.
  • Lead design coordination efforts ensuring compliance with Employer Requirements and project standards.
  • Manage procurement processes including contractor interviews, bid evaluations, and value engineering involvement.
  • Supervise design deliverables and adherence to design release timelines from package contractors.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance, quality assurance, RAMS, and temporary works management.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities alongside specialist teams.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including technical submissions, reports, and records.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders at every level.
  • Ensure delivery of the package with safety, timeliness, and quality at the forefront.
  • Support lessons learned initiatives and project handover after completion.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Professional background in mechanical engineering with practical project experience.
  • Ability to handle complex project packages efficiently under pressure using systematic approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with contractors and senior stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement, design coordination, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety consistent with MiCiM values.
