Media Specialist

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity to plan, capture, and produce premium photographic and video content focusing on construction projects, properties, site activities, events, and organizational initiatives at Avelon Realty LLP headquartered in Mysuru, Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute photo and video shoots covering construction sites, company events, and real estate properties.
• Produce engaging social media video formats including Reels, walkthroughs, and promotional clips.
• Conduct photography and videography assignments during site visits and marketing campaigns.
• Edit videos incorporating precise cuts, transitions, sound, text overlays, color correction, and brand-consistent elements.
• Design social media creatives such as posters, banners, brochures, thumbnails, and presentations.
• Ensure all visual content aligns with the company's branding and marketing goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, HR, and Project departments to identify content needs and shooting schedules.
• Manage and organize the company’s digital media assets, including photos, videos, designs, and other related files.
• Maintain and handle technical equipment like cameras, lenses, lighting and audio gear responsibly.
• Stay abreast of evolving social media trends, editing techniques, and visual content styles.
• Contribute creative media assets to support digital marketing efforts and campaigns.
• Assist with drone-based photography and videography where legal and feasible.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Photography, Videography, Graphic Design, Media, or related disciplines.
• Between 1 and 4 years of professional experience in photography and videography.
• In-depth understanding of photography principles including lighting, framing, composition, and storytelling.
• Proficiency in video editing and graphic design fundamentals.
• Keen creative insight paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to independently oversee projects from concept through delivery.
• Strong communication and team coordination capabilities.
• Willingness to travel to various construction and project locations for shoots.
• A strong portfolio or showreel evidencing previous relevant work is desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Background in real estate, construction, architectural, interior design, or commercial project media production.
• Experience developing social media video content such as Reels, Shorts, and walkthrough videos.
• Familiarity with drone videography and photography techniques.
• Basic skills in motion graphics and animation.
• Understanding of social media content specifications.
• Possession of personal photography or videography equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.

Technical Tools

Comfort with professional editing software is expected. Candidates should be proficient or capable in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and graphic design programs like Canva.
