Media Planner

Role Overview

We are seeking a Media Planner Executive to join our team in Nashik on a full-time, in-person basis. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in agency or marketing leadership roles and be responsible for devising strategic media plans, managing media purchases at optimal rates from vendors, and coordinating with management to develop proposals. The role entails overseeing the complete workflow from planning, printing, mounting, monitoring, through to invoice verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage media plans.
• Negotiate with media owners and agencies.
• Maintain a master database of cities, hoardings, media channels, and new media vendors updated monthly.
• Ensure upkeep of current media assets.
• Coordinate printing, mounting, and execution monitoring activities.
• Verify bills submitted by media owners and agencies.
• Respond to inquiry calls and manage new leads related to hoarding covers and flex materials.
• Liaise effectively with clients and vendors.

Key Planning Activities

• Daily hoarding availability plans for Nashik city.
• Weekly hoarding availability plans for Nashik rural districts and North Maharashtra.
• Monthly hoarding plans covering North Maharashtra and Marathwada regions.
• Bi-monthly hoarding availability plans for Pan Maharashtra excluding Mumbai.
• Monthly hoarding availability plans specifically for Mumbai city.
• Weekly plans for bus shelters and cinema offscreen advertising in Nashik city.

Vendor and Media Reviews

• Monthly assessment of hoarding rates among agencies in Maharashtra.
• Regular review of printers, mounters, BTL vendors, radio stations, and news channels within Maharashtra.
• Maintain continuous coordination with printers and mounters to ensure smooth operations.

Administrative Duties

• Oversee hoarding creatives adaptation.
• Submit datasheets of every transaction to accounting for Purchase Order generation.
• Distribute monitoring photographs to accounts and clients regularly.
• Manage reprinting procedures and amendments to existing Purchase Orders like add-ons or reprinting details.
• Prepare and forward proposals to sales teams adhering to deadlines.
• Maintain weekly scoreboards and deliver monthly presentations.
• Meticulously recheck invoices before submission to clients and upon receipt from accounts.
• Submit Vrindawan site data every month before the 5th.

Performance Metrics

• Quality and completeness of monitoring photographs.
• Maintenance and currency of media assets.
• Scorecard results.
• Volume of proposals submitted monthly and weekly.
• Data on printing and mounting activities monthly.
• Additions to master media lists including new cities, hoardings, and media owners.

Compensation

The salary offered for this position ranges between ₹180,000 and ₹300,000 per annum.
