Job Overview

Petra Mechatronics specializes in supplying and servicing weighing equipment, measurement devices, and automation systems throughout the UAE. We are looking for a practical and self-reliant Mechatronics Engineer to oversee technical service duties, manage daily operations, and coordinate with customers effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, repair, and upkeep of weighing scales, measurement instruments, and associated devices.
• Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues, including faults in load cells, indicators, and wiring systems.
• Carry out inspection, testing, and configuration of equipment prior to delivery and setup.
• Handle work orders, prepare service reports, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure order completion.
• Coordinate customer appointments for service visits, deliveries, and maintenance, ensuring each job is finalized thoroughly.
• Assist the sales team by advising on product choices, specifications, and responding to technical inquiries.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years practical experience in technical service, industrial maintenance, instrumentation, or automation fields.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical domains.
• Competent with MS Excel, Word, and general computer applications.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Highly organized with the capability to operate independently across fieldwork, workshop tasks, and office responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Advantageous Qualifications

• Prior familiarity with weighing scale systems or calibration work.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Ability to speak Arabic.
