Mechanical Site Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to perform assembly work on industrial enclosures at various project sites. The equipment arrives disassembled in knock-down form with panels ready for assembly, and the candidate will be responsible for erecting these enclosures efficiently and independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpreting and working with basic mechanical and assembly blueprints.
• Conducting nut and bolt fastening and erecting machine enclosures on site.
• Utilizing hand tools such as spanners, socket wrenches, drill machines, measuring tapes, and spirit levels to ensure precise assembly.
• Working autonomously at customer locations ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Traveling to project sites as necessary to complete assembly tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience of 2 to 5 years in mechanical fitting or assembly roles is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical or assembly drawings.
• Familiarity and proficiency with relevant hand tools for assembly work.
• Adept at working independently without supervision on site.
• Willingness to travel as per project site requirements.
