About the Role
An M+E Contractor is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a major project based in Bristol. The role requires close involvement throughout the entire project lifecycle—starting from pre-construction planning and estimating handover, through project delivery, commissioning, practical completion, and post-completion follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Your core duties will include managing the project to ensure profitable delivery while meeting engineering standards, quality benchmarks, safety protocols, and programme targets. Daily collaboration with the principal contractor to arrange work schedules and coordinate on-site activities is essential. Maintaining detailed project documentation, attending pertinent commercial and operational meetings, and leading a motivated, professional, and high-achieving site team are also important aspects of this position.
Candidate Requirements
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience managing mechanical projects within large construction undertakings. Proven capabilities in managing multi-disciplinary contracts and efficiently controlling data flow processes are required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical to effectively engage and advise stakeholders at different organizational levels.
Compensation and Contract
The opportunity offers a permanent contract with an annual salary ranging from £65,000 to £85,000, commensurate with experience.
