About the Role
The position of Diploma Mechanical Engineer - Trainee serves as an essential link between senior engineering staff and on-site production teams. It emphasizes gaining practical exposure to manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance of various jobs and products through a structured training regimen.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a one-year structured training program concentrating on manufacturing workflows and production processes.
- Support daily production operations by supervising workflow and learning assembly of mechanical components.
- Handle site duties at client locations including conducting Tool Box Talks (TBT) and managing manpower effectively.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Interpretation of engineering drawings, understanding welding methods, and material characteristics.
- Engage in quality management and control procedures to ensure product standards.
- Draft designs using CAD software for production support.
