Job Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will assist the Senior MEP Engineer in overseeing the operation and upkeep of mechanical systems at the Primary Nursery Facility within NEOM, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, and vertical transportation, ensuring system safety, reliability, and compliance with project standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with service providers, contractors, and internal departments to coordinate day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities.
- Support planning and execution of preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Monitor usage rates of spare parts to optimize inventory management.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and quality standards during maintenance operations.
- Participate in asset condition evaluation and assist in commissioning projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is mandatory.
- Between 4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical design fundamentals, system operations, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with applicable industry standards and guidelines is essential.
- Practical knowledge of SAP and MAXIMO systems for equipment monitoring and maintenance tracking.
