Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time permanent mid-level position focused on building construction projects within Qatar or the GCC region. The candidate should be prepared to join within 15 days of selection.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and oversee HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems in building projects.
• Prepare and manage shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Conduct site supervision and coordinate effectively with consultants and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations including Ashghal, Kahramaa, and QCD requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Holds a valid UPDA certification and QCD license.
• At least 4 years of pertinent experience in building construction projects.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
