Job Overview

We seek a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our projects located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves comprehensive coordination and oversight of mechanical and MEP systems to ensure compliance and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate tenant mechanical and MEP drawings, technical submissions, and shop drawings to verify accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate the integration of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, and various mechanical systems across projects.
• Confirm that all tenant designs meet the authorized MEP provisions, applicable technical standards, and fit-out specifications.
• Oversee the progress of tenant MEP fit-out activities through regular site inspections to ensure quality and standards are maintained.
• Detect and address technical discrepancies, non-compliances, and work deviations, facilitating appropriate corrective measures.
• Provide support during testing, commissioning, snagging, project completion, and handover phases to assure smooth transitions.
• Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders including tenants, consultants, contractors, leasing teams, development, facility management, operations, and other disciplinary teams.
• Keep thorough records of technical documents, inspection reports, approved drawings, and all relevant correspondence for reference and compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience in mechanical engineering duties related to MEP design, building services, retail fit-outs, or construction projects.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, and coordinating MEP systems.
• Familiarity with reviewing mechanical drawings and technical submissions effectively.
• Experience conducting site inspections, managing snagging lists, and overseeing rectification work.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior involvement in mall, retail, mixed-used, hospitality, or commercial development ventures is favorable.
• Exhibit robust technical review capabilities, coordination skills, problem-solving aptitude, and strong communication proficiency.
