Mechanical Engineer

Overview

We seek a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to strengthen our team. This role demands substantial technical expertise in overseeing mechanical systems within a facilities management context.

Key Duties

• Lead and manage mechanical operations and maintenance activities at designated facilities.
• Ensure efficient functionality of HVAC systems, pumps, chillers, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
• Identify system malfunctions, direct troubleshooting efforts, and implement corrective measures.
• Design and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Generate detailed reports, conduct inspections, and propose enhancements for system reliability.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to technical staff to improve operational performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least 6 years of practical experience in O&M within facilities management or industrial settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance.
• Proven leadership in managing teams and technical operations.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-resolution capabilities.
• Possession of professional certifications such as HVAC, PMP, or NEBOSH is considered favorable.
