About the Role
Our well-established manufacturing client, renowned for over 80 years in providing quality solutions globally, seeks a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join their expanding team. The company has secured a significant new contract, creating an exciting permanent role opportunity.
Key Duties
- Assemble a diverse array of products comprising numerous mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
- Interpret and work from technical engineering drawings.
- Perform drilling tasks on assigned projects.
- Carry out basic welding procedures as required.
- Conduct testing and inspection operations to ensure product quality.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses strong mechanical fitting skills and experience.
- Capable of reading and understanding assembly drawings accurately.
- Experienced in performing fundamental welding techniques.
- Willingness and ability to stay away from home for site installation assignments when necessary.
