Role Overview

This full-time onsite position is located in the Greater Sydney Area. As a Mechanic at JAX Tyres & Auto, you will be responsible for conducting routine vehicle maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing repairs on various systems such as tyres, brakes, suspension, and engines. Key duties include executing thorough vehicle safety inspections, accurately identifying and resolving mechanical problems, and upholding superior service standards. Maintaining detailed service documentation and fostering a cooperative, safety-minded working environment are integral parts of the role.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Skilled in vehicle diagnostic techniques, maintenance, and repairs, covering tyres, brakes, engines, and suspension components.
  • Technically adept with strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety and accuracy standards.
  • Proficient problem-solver capable of operating efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Certified in Automotive Technology or related disciplines; prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with both customers and colleagues.
  • Dedicated to following workplace safety protocols and regulations consistently.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and demonstrates eagerness to continuously update knowledge on evolving automotive technologies and methods.
