Role Overview

The Meat Wrapper is tasked with performing a wide range of duties with professionalism and precision. This role emphasizes excellent customer service, fostering strong customer relationships, and supporting an engaging environment for both employees and patrons.

Key Responsibilities

• Strictly follow all food safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, corporate policies, and health and safety programs.
• Deliver attentive customer service to satisfy client needs.
• Accurately wrap, package, price, label, and date meat and poultry items responsibly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Handle, arrange, and rotate stock as per company standards.
• Log information meticulously in the required records.
• Execute merchandising and product presentation adhering to company standards.
• Prepare deli products aligning with quality and food safety standards.
• Promote store sales by actively marketing products.
• Assist in training junior team members.
• Manage stock ordering and receiving following inventory control procedures.
• Prepare meat products for service cases, when applicable.
• Process departmental shrinkage accurately.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
