Key Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous and professional service to customers.
• Prepare various meat products for sale and display.
• Stock and organize the meat area when appropriate.
• Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the meat department.
• Receive and process meat shipment orders.
• Handle special meat product requests.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities.
• Comply with company meat quality standards and Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.
• Implement and adhere to all company policies and standards.
• Complete administrative tasks as necessary.
• Provide technical training to new employees and clerks.
• Support the Meat Manager or Second Meat Clerk as needed.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of meat department operations and associated skills.
• Capability to work independently in a high-paced environment.
• High School Diploma required.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
