Within our expanding Diagnostics division, we are seeking a compassionate MBBS Doctor to provide video consultations to patients following their diagnostic tests. This role is full-time and based at our Mumbai office in Saki Vihar, Powai.

Role Overview

The consultant will conduct one-on-one video sessions with patients to help interpret their diagnostic results in a straightforward manner. Responsibilities include clarifying abnormal results, advising on underlying causes, and suggesting next steps to promote improved health outcomes. The position demands empathetic communication and guiding patients through lifestyle and preventive health recommendations aligned with medical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled video consultations post diagnostic report delivery.
• Explain test findings in accessible language.
• Address abnormal findings with patients and outline recommended actions.
• Provide guidance on diet, lifestyle, and prevention strategies based on clinical evidence.
• Advise when to pursue specialist care or additional investigations.
• Record detailed consultation notes and maintain documentation.
• Deliver a patient-centered experience emphasizing empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Candidate Profile

• Possess an MBBS degree and valid medical registration.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in regional languages is advantageous.
• Strong patient counseling capabilities and the ability to simplify complex medical information.
• Comfort with using video consultation software and basic digital platforms.
• Compassionate, patient-focused mindset.
• Desirable: MD or postgraduate qualifications.
• Preferable experience in general practice, telemedicine, family medicine, preventive health, corporate hospitals, or diagnostics.
• Experience in explaining laboratory reports to patients is a plus.

Work Details

• Location: Truemeds Headquarters, Saki Vihar Road, Powai, Mumbai.
• Working hours: Fixed 9-hour shifts, office-based.
• Employment type: Full-time.
• Consultation sessions last around 20 minutes.
• No emergency or night shifts involved.
