Role Overview

This role involves a full-time, on-campus Mathematics Teacher position at Elite Private School Abu Dhabi. The core duties include planning and delivering engaging mathematics lessons consistent with the curriculum and standards. Responsibilities cover preparing lesson plans, teaching, assessing students’ progress, giving constructive feedback, and maintaining detailed achievement records. The teacher will customize instructional approaches to accommodate varying learning needs, incorporate technology and interactive activities, and cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom. Collaboration with colleagues, participation in school functions and professional training, and maintaining regular communication with parents or guardians about student performance are essential components.

Qualifications and Experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of Mathematics and Mathematics Education, capable of instructing multiple grade levels.
• Proven skills in lesson planning, curriculum design, and assessment creation.
• Possession of teaching certification/licensure and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or relevant area.
• Effective classroom management with an ability to foster an inclusive, student-focused environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication abilities for interaction with diverse students, families, and staff.
• Experience using contemporary teaching technology, learning management systems, and data-driven instructional strategies is highly advantageous.
• Previous teaching experience in international or bilingual schools, especially those operating under ADEK or similar regulatory bodies, is preferred.
