It has become a leader in engine overhaul and component repair services, particularly for the Trent engine family, including all variants such as Trent 500, 700, 800, 900, 1000, and XWB. It is the sole MRO supporting all Trent products, with capability to overhaul over 300 engines annually and operating a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility.

Job Summary
The Material Kitting Assistant is responsible for processing incoming parts for the kitting area, ensuring traceability and accuracy in kitting and picking tasks related to engine/module builds. This role supports parts movement operations essential for build and repair activities across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols including proper use of PPE and fostering a safe workplace.
- Verify all parts received conform to regulatory and company quality standards, escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain attendance and discipline in accordance with company policies.
- Perform daily operational tasks such as picking, kitting, build preparation, and packing within set deadlines.
- Support full clearance and readiness of assigned engines/modules as per build sequencing plans.
- Provide regular updates on status and readiness of assigned modules to supervisors and management.
- Coordinate closely with Crew Supervisor to ensure timely part receipts into kitting.
- Use SAP ZMKIT transactions to maintain traceability upon item receipt.
- Facilitate urgent part retrievals for emergency or out-of-build production needs.
- Assist Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Quality teams with shift-specific requirements.
- Manage movement and retrieval of parts to/from external warehouses as needed.
- Ensure effective shift handover including updates on engine/module assignments and outstanding tasks.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum GCE "N" Levels, SPM or equivalent, plus at least two years in a logistics-related role.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment with a collaborative and positive mindset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Forklift operation skills and valid license considered an advantage.
