Material Handler

Job Overview

As a Material Handler, you will be tasked with overseeing daily warehouse activities within your designated area, maintaining safety and efficiency throughout operations. You will utilize technological tools where appropriate to support task completion and ensure that customer expectations are met according to established service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Inventory Management

• Keep precise inventory logs through the company’s inventory management system.
• Track stock availability, predict shortages and coordinate replenishment processes.
• Work closely with procurement to ensure orders are placed promptly.
• Manage security measures for handling hazardous materials appropriately.

Order Fulfillment

• Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping processes to guarantee timely, accurate order deliveries.
• Quickly identify and resolve any order fulfillment discrepancies.
• Apply quality control procedures ensuring products are correctly labeled and packaged.
• Coordinate with customer support teams and provide updates on shipment progress; handle documentation in compliance with local regulations such as packing lists and bills of lading.

Quality Assurance

• Perform inspections of stock including SKU, color, size, quantity, and condition against customer orders.
• Prepare documentation related to non-compliance for subsequent actions.

Operational Compliance

• Maintain adherence to workplace safety standards to foster a safe work environment.
• Complete mandatory safety training such as 5S and comply with corporate social responsibility policies.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with various departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Communicate clearly to facilitate timely processing of orders and task coordination.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess at least one year of experience in fields including logistics, warehousing, transportation, or distribution.
