Role Overview

We invite applications for the role of Master Data Management Specialist based in Gurgaon, working onsite in the US shift. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to accurately process and categorize business transactions, manage master data domains, and ensure data integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Master Data Management requests across different domains including daily and ad-hoc tasks.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and proactively identify duplicate data entries.
• Conduct regular data analysis to determine data cleansing and enrichment requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of activities within agreed turnaround times.
• Handle vendor, customer, product, and hierarchy mapping, run queries and reports, allocate data, reconcile accounts, and respond to client and internal requests.
• Perform process controls, quality checks, and maintain accurate documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) during handovers and routine operations.
• Gain in-depth understanding of entity-specific processes and norms.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing domain and process knowledge support.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in balancing customer-facing roles with work assessments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Solid domain knowledge in Master Data Management.
• Preferably educated or trained in master data analysis with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance.
• Exposure to SAP Ariba or SAP HANA is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Outlook, OneNote, Word, and Excel with advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Syniti software is a plus.
• Highly motivated with excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a structured, reliable, and meticulous work approach.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to analyze and report master data metrics to reduce data issues and uphold governance policies.
• Develop and enhance business processes using data tools and metrics for informed decision-making.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP and workflow systems.
