It is dedicated to delivering a hospitable and welcoming atmosphere to its guests.

Role Overview

The Massage Therapist position is a full-time, on-site role responsible for delivering expert massage and bodywork services tailored to guests' individual wellness and relaxation needs. Key duties involve assessing client requirements, recommending suitable therapies, preparing treatment areas, upholding stringent hygiene standards, maintaining client safety and comfort throughout sessions, and accurately documenting treatments. Collaboration with spa and resort personnel to enhance guest satisfaction and promote spa offerings is essential. The therapist is also expected to foster a tranquil and inviting spa environment while adhering to resort policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service aptitude demonstrated through clear communication, attentive listening, and a warm, professional demeanor.
  • Skilled in various body massage techniques focused on relaxation and stress relief, prioritizing guest comfort and safety.
  • Experienced in therapeutic massage modalities such as Shiatsu or equivalents to support clients' physical and mental wellness.
  • Capable of aiding stress management through appropriate massage methods combined with a calming presence.
  • Possession of a massage therapy certification or diploma from a recognized institution and a valid license or registration if required.
  • Preferably holds prior experience working as a massage therapist within a spa, resort, or hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with fundamental anatomy, physiology, and contraindications related to massage therapy.
  • Dedicated to sustaining high standards of hygiene, professional ethics, and client confidentiality.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays aligning with resort and spa operations.
  • Comfortable operating in a multicultural environment with conversational proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
