Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mason to perform various masonry tasks, including brick, block, stone, and concrete work, strictly following provided construction drawings and specifications. The role involves building and repairing walls, partitions, foundations, floors, and other masonry structures with precision and quality finishing.

Responsibilities

• Execute brickwork, blockwork, stone masonry, and concrete application as per design requirements.
• Construct and mend walls, floors, foundations, and partitions.
• Prepare and utilize cement mortar, plaster, concrete, and other related materials effectively.
• Carry out plastering, screeding, tile installation, grouting, and finish surfaces to standards.
• Measure, cut, shape, and align construction materials precisely on-site.
• Repair masonry damages including cracks and concrete surfaces to maintain structural integrity.
• Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Comply with site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience as a Mason, ideally within construction, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven expertise in brickwork, blockwork, plastering, concrete repairs, screed application, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to interpret simple construction drawings, measurements, levels, and specifications.
• Knowledgeable in preparing mortar, mixing concrete, and applying alignment and leveling methods accurately.
• Competent in operating both manual and power masonry tools.
• Physically fit and able to perform labor-intensive tasks under site conditions.
• Strong understanding and adherence to construction safety standards and PPE usage.
• Immediate availability and possession of a valid Qatar ID (QID) are preferred.
