Job Role

This full-time position is located onsite in Dubai and involves performing daily masonry duties. The mason is responsible for preparing working surfaces, mixing essential materials, and accurately laying bricks, blocks, and stones per the project’s specifications. Key tasks include constructing and mending walls, floors, and other building components, carrying out renovation projects, and ensuring structures are properly aligned, leveled, and finished. The role requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, using correct tools and machinery, adhering to safety practices, and coordinating with supervisors and other tradespeople to execute work efficiently. The work sites vary and include both new construction and refurbishment assignments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in masonry tasks such as building, repairing, and finishing masonry structures.
• Practical skills using cement and related materials for proper mixing, setting, and finishing.
• Proficiency in brickwork, ensuring precise laying of bricks and blocks with correct alignment and joints.
• Competency in stonework, including cutting, shaping, and placing stones for both structural and decorative purposes.
• Experience in restoration and upgrading existing masonry as part of renovation work.
• Basic understanding of construction plans and measurement techniques.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team, follow instructions, and adjust to varying site conditions.
• Previous roles as a mason or related positions; vocational education or certifications in masonry or construction are a plus.
