Role Overview
The Marketing Lead position, based in Queenstown, centers on ensuring seamless execution of Patagonia's marketing strategies across Aotearoa New Zealand. This role coordinates marketing campaigns, communications, and brand experiences across retail, wholesale, ecommerce, and events, ensuring local relevance and global consistency. Reporting to the Marketing & Impact Manager NZ and collaborating with the ANZ team, the incumbent manages key workstreams to infuse clarity and momentum into marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate timely and brand-aligned delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives within New Zealand.
- Oversee marketing operations including seasonal campaign calendars, asset workflows, and coordination across multiple channels.
- Support cohesive execution of marketing efforts in retail, wholesale, and ecommerce to maintain a high-quality brand presence.
- Serve as a central connector among diverse teams, driving alignment and clarity amidst multiple priorities.
- Continuously enhance marketing efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in marketing coordination, campaign execution, or marketing operations.
- Exceptional organizational skills capable of juggling various priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communicator who builds and maintains strong inter-team relationships.
- Comfortable both supporting behind the scenes and taking ownership as needed.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a passion for optimizing systems and workflows.
- Skilled at influencing others without formal authority to achieve goals collaboratively.
- Adaptable, curious, and eager to learn new tools and methods.
