Job description

About Limina

Limina is a cutting-edge contextual data intelligence platform designed for the AI era, evolving from Private AI—the industry's leading PII and PHI de-identification engine. It manages sensitive data throughout the entire enterprise AI lifecycle, including classification, redaction, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and real-time data security. Limina operates within customer environments without third-party data processing, delivering audit-ready compliance aligned with HIPAA, GDPR, CPRA, PCI-DSS, and more. Esteemed clients include Zurich Insurance, MUFG Bank, RBC, Intact Insurance, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Deloitte.

Role Overview

As Limina’s inaugural Market Development Representative, you will be an essential member of the marketing team reporting to the VP of Marketing. Your core responsibility is to generate qualified leads by identifying and engaging prospects already showing interest, transforming this interest into meaningful conversations to build a robust pipeline for Account Executives. This position is characterized by warm, relevant outreach based on actual buyer signals rather than cold calling. You will also play a key role in launching Limina’s first account-based marketing pilot and support overall marketing and sales alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted outreach to engaged prospects such as webinar participants, content downloaders, newsletter subscribers, and repeat visitors who have not yet expressed direct interest.
  • Revitalize dormant leads including stalled pre-MQLs and previously lost opportunities by reconnecting where circumstances may have changed.
  • Enhance pre-MQL leads with personalized engagement alongside nurture programs to accelerate sales readiness.
  • Execute winback and job-change campaigns to reengage ex-customers and advocates who have transitioned to new companies.
  • Lead the pilot of an account-based marketing program, coordinating personalized outreach to selected enterprise target accounts and working closely with relevant Account Executives.
  • Manage event-related activities end-to-end: setting appointments before conferences, engaging with prospects on-site, and following up after events.
  • Respond promptly (within one business hour) to inbound expressions of interest such as demo requests, pricing queries, chat interactions, and trial sign-ups.
  • Qualify leads through discovery via calls and emails, covering use cases, data types, deployment environments, compliance factors, and timelines.
  • Ensure leads are correctly routed to Account Executives with comprehensive context and schedule meetings accordingly.
  • Maintain high CRM data quality including accurate status, sources, dispositions, and next steps to support reliable marketing and sales reporting.
  • Participate actively in marketing strategy development by sharing insights on effective signals, messaging, and segmentation based on prospect feedback.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrable 1 to 2 years experience in business development, sales development, marketing, or other customer-facing roles, with evidence of rapid learning.
  • A proactive attitude that seeks out and initiates contact with likely buyers instead of waiting passively for leads.
  • A natural curiosity about customer purchasing behavior combined with strong listening skills.
  • Comfort discussing or eagerness to quickly master topics such as data privacy, AI infrastructure, and enterprise deployment models.
  • Excellent written communication skills characterized by clarity, conciseness, and customization, particularly for busy technical and compliance stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns, inbound queues, and event follow-ups without missing details.
  • A humble, responsible approach embracing all aspects of prospecting including research, list building, and CRM management as vital skills.
  • Experience or familiarity with account-based marketing and intent-data tools is advantageous, though not mandatory.

Growth Opportunities

This role offers broad exposure to the full revenue generation process. Consistent achievement of targets and strong product understanding could lead to advancement into Account Executive positions or roles focused on demand generation and account-based marketing. Opportunities include shadowing sales cycles and collaborating on discovery sessions.

Performance Metrics

  • Primary metrics include qualified pipeline volume accepted by Account Executives and number of qualified meetings booked and held monthly.
  • Source of meetings should demonstrate effectiveness of signal-based outreach, lead reactivation, and winback initiatives.
  • Supporting metrics involve speed of response to inbound leads, conversion rates from leads to opportunities, CRM data integrity, and engagement rates from the ABM pilot accounts during the initial six months.

Why Join Limina

  • Industry leadership in accurate contextual data intelligence trusted by regulated enterprises in financial services, insurance, healthcare, and technology sectors.
  • Outstanding market positioning with the pressing need for AI-sensitive data governance among well-funded organizations.
  • Unique chance to contribute foundationally by building a new marketing function and executing the inaugural ABM program.
  • Attractive compensation package including base salary supplemented by variable pay tied to sourced pipeline and meetings, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits.

Compensation

Salary range between 80000 and 100000 CAD annually.
