The company also provides extensive repair and maintenance services for transformers of all makes, ensuring customer support throughout the entire equipment lifecycle. With two manufacturing facilities in Vadodara and a network of branches and service centers nationwide, Voltamp caters to a broad spectrum of industrial, commercial, and utility clients. Recently, Voltamp has inaugurated a new factory dedicated to manufacturing extra high voltage (EHV) class power transformers at Vadodara.
Role Overview
The Manufacturing Professional will be based onsite in the Greater Vadodara area and will be responsible for the comprehensive management of extra high voltage power transformer production processes. Key duties include supervising manufacturing operations, tracking production line activities, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role demands collaboration with engineering, procurement, and maintenance departments to streamline workflows, minimize downtime, and achieve delivery targets. Additionally, the incumbent will support process enhancement initiatives, document production procedures, resolve operational issues, participate in audits, perform inventory verifications, and contribute to workforce training programs aimed at operational excellence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- In-depth expertise in manufacturing processes for EHV transformers encompassing assembly, testing, and quality assurance.
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, quality management frameworks, and applicable industry standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents accurately.
- Competency in basic computer use and familiarity with ERP systems or production management software.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- A minimum of 10 years of pertinent manufacturing experience is required.
