About the Role

We invite applications for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Limerick, encompassing Corrugator, Conversion, and Engineering departments. This senior management position involves leading a workforce of around 95 individuals and focuses on nurturing talent, boosting performance, and fostering an engaged manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide, mentor, and develop leaders within production and engineering teams.
  • Establish a culture of high performance with well-defined accountability and ownership.
  • Enhance employee motivation, succession planning, and professional growth initiatives.
  • Encourage strong cooperation among Operations, Engineering, Planning, Logistics, and Quality sectors.
  • Manage manufacturing effectiveness in areas such as safety, on-time-in-full delivery, waste reduction, quality standards, overall equipment effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Promote continuous improvement programs including Lean manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance, Single-Minute Exchange of Die, and 5S methodologies.
  • Foster a culture emphasizing proactive maintenance and reliability of assets.
  • Ensure operational outcomes meet customer expectations and align with site goals.

Qualifications and Experience

We seek a dynamic operational leader capable of balancing workforce leadership with manufacturing excellence.

  • Demonstrated experience leading substantial manufacturing teams in high-speed production settings.
  • Strong leadership and workforce management skills with the flexibility to operate across two shifts plus standard office hours.
  • Proven background in production, engineering, and enhancing operational performance.
  • Collaborative leadership approach paired with effective communication abilities.
  • Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Competence in managing key performance indicators, budgets, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.
